What we know

INVOICE NAME MISMATCH CONFIRMED. Trustpilot reviewer confirms: "Real company name Tradespex Ltd — these gentlemen and lady on the phone fooled her at every turn, charging her approximately £600 for a routine fix which they oversold as an urgent lock change." ADDITIONAL FRAUD: Follow-up visit guaranteed free of charge on phone — then charged approximately £200 on arrival. INVOICE EVIDENCE: Email address on invoice inactive. Company refused alternative contact address — line deliberately dropped three times before providing it. BRIGHTON OPERATIVE DOCUMENTED: Operative offered to drill lock for £40 cash on the side — off the books — after being refused on quoted price. This is itself evidence of operating outside proper invoicing. Invoice shows £226.80 charged without prior agreement. Connected to DIYBEST Ltd network via locksmith-team.co.uk — both company names appear in Locksmith Team Trustpilot reviews. Report to Trading Standards 0808 223 1133. Action Fraud 0300 123 2040. Check Companies House for company number and report VAT fraud to HMRC 0800 788 887 if VAT charged.
